Treating Geriatric Pain
Physiological changes cause such conditions as arthritis, menopause, or low testosterone, generating pain in muscles and joints. Effective non-pharmacological approaches to reduce pain include physical therapy and interventional behavioral therapy, as well as educating patients and caregivers about treatment options. Other treatments include non-opioid and opioid medications, pain-modulating drugs, topical agents, and other innovative therapies aimed at reducing pain and swelling in the joints.
Permanent treatments of arthritis pain include:
- Radiofrequency Ablation
- Kyphoplasty
- Minimally invasive lumbar decompression (mild)

This place is amazing and the best Pain Clinic I’ve ever been to! The staff is incredible! And Lesley Newell is the best!!!! Having 17 spine surgeries I’ve had a lot of nerve damage and neurological junk going on with my legs and arms that I’ve dealt with for several years that nobody could seem to help with. After my visit with Leslie Newell, she solved that for me and I am just amazed that this lady knew exactly what to do to help me and now I haven’t dealt with that neurological issue now for a little over a month. She is amazing! And if any of the Pain Zero staff sees this, please relay this to Lesley! She is a godsend! 🙏🏼

I went to pain zero because I have a lot of issues that no one else was helping me with. I saw doctor T's PA who was very nice and knowledgeable and listened to me. Then she brought the doctor in and he was very nice as well and actually listened to me (unlike any other doctor I've ever seen). He didn't make me feel like my issues were made up or insignificant, in fact he was very concerned and referred me to a neurosurgeon to see if one of my main issues can actually be fixed which in turn will help a lot of my other issues. I would definitely highly recommend pain zero and Dr T.
Both the doctors are really concerned and taken care of my pain and my lower back very great place to go to good people even the receptionists are very nice and friendly and helpful
